After a good 10 minutes and a spirited battle under the tip she was subdued and resting up ready for a weigh in and photo shoot. The scales settled at 16lb 12oz making this a long overdue and new PB for me….happy days🥳 A paste wrapped T.H.C. Always great to see our man on the Severn @garym7 getting amongst the gold! “Tough conditions today with the Severn still rising and coming over the bank’s this morning my first choice venue was out so headed down to my club stretch which had a higher bank for floodwater, decided to work a 50 yard bit of bank and drop a bait down every 10 yards see if I could find a feeding fish, despite the constant debris and leaves hitting the line’s later into the session as the sun dropped down the tip finally bounced over and i was into another 9lber to add to my recent tally of fish, a Dark C.K.O.
